Can't Stop Running Co
est. Dec. 7, 2013
Can’t Stop Running Co. is owned and operated by
Ryan & Amanda King. Ryan and Amanda have
been part of the Piqua community all of their lives.
The decision to get into the running business was
an easy one since running has been a serious part
of their lives for several years.
In late summer of 2013, Ryan and Amanda committed to moving forward with Can’t Stop Running Co. Through quite a bit of support from family, friends, other local businesses, and the Piqua community as a whole, Can’t Stop Running Co opened it’s doors for business on December 7th, 2013.
While setting out to be recognized as a leading run specialty retailer in Ohio, Ryan and Amanda knew they wanted to make their store exceptional and unique. With excellent staff, great product offerings, a unique retail space, and a culture of supporting the running /walking community, Can’t Stop Running Co is bound to be your favorite place to spend time.
Whether you are in the store to get your next pair of shoes, run out of our back lounge, or just hang out and talk about your last race, Ryan & Amanda want you to feel welcome and appreciate your support.
At Can’t Stop Running Co., we want to be there for you as you get out there and move forward.
Ryan King is co-owner of Can't Stop Running Co. and an avid runner both on the road and on the trails. While owning a store, training for ultramarathons, and being husband and a father to 3 girls, Ryan balances life with ice cream. The best advice we can give you is to not make a bet with him because even if you win, you will end up owing him ice cream. In 2016 Ryan took over as Race Director for the Grand Lake Marathon. He is excited about growing the race and continuing upon what has been started and see the race grow for the Grand Lake Region.
Amanda King is co-owner of Can't Stop Running Co., and you guessed it, she's a runner too! While she might be the only one at the store who has not run an ultra (and she has NO desire to) but don't let that fool you, Amanda still gets her fair share of miles in. She'll say she hates to race, but she secretly loves it and prefers half marathons. Amanda loves to cross train also, with her favorite things being HIIT and Spinning classes at the local YMCA. She may not run ultras but she always loves crewing for Ryan and is eager to pace him in some upcoming races. Amanda stays busy caring for their 3 daughters and can often be found cheering on the sidelines of basketball, volleyball, and softball games. Her favorite motivational quote is, "She believed she could, so she did."
